Comprehensive Septic Tank Installation and Repair Services

If your septic tank is leaking, cracked, or corroded, Septic Solutions can typically replace it within a single day. Our services include obtaining all necessary permits and coordinating inspections for your convenience. We offer septic tanks ranging from 300 to 2,000+ gallons in capacity. For standard conditions, we recommend poly (plastic) tanks due to their longevity. However, if deeper installation or specific load ratings are necessary, we install precast concrete tanks. Additionally, we offer custom tank configurations to accommodate special conditions. Our team handles all excavation and installation processes, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. Call Septic Solutions to schedule your septic tank service today to keep your system running smoothly.

How to Know If a Septic Tank Needs to be Replaced

Occasionally, you might notice wet spots around your septic tank or detect unpleasant odors in your yard. In less evident cases, your septic pumping/cleaning technician will alert you to any issues found within the tank. Metal septic tanks, in particular, should be replaced promptly due to their rapid corrosion and potential collapse when emptied. Most municipalities no longer install metal septic tanks due to these concerns.

The septic tank serves the purpose of capturing solid waste and directing liquid wastewater, known as effluent, into a subsurface drain field for safe absorption or evaporation. However, a leaking septic tank can release untreated wastewater into the ground, posing a risk of contaminating your well or the water table in your community. Moreover, a severely corroded metal or concrete tank can pose a danger to people or animals, as it may collapse unexpectedly. Call Septic Solutions today to have your tank inspected and replaced in a timely and efficient manner.

Additional Services for Complete Care

We can install a riser, with a surface level lid, on your septic tank, and easily accessible clean-outs on your inlet and outlet pipes, to make pumping and maintenance easier and less expensive. Call us for a quote today.

  • What makes septic tanks fail and what can I do to prevent it?

    • Concrete and metal septic tanks will corrode if salt, bleach (chlorine) or other chemicals are flushed or poured down the drain.
    • Water softeners and other water treatment systems should not drain into the septic system. This will shorten the lifespan of the tank and reduce the efficiency of the wastewater drainage system.
    • Poly (plastic) septic tanks will fail if cars or machines drive over them. They are not load rated. They can also fail if they are not properly installed or installed too deep.
    • Metal septic tanks corrode very quickly, even when properly installed and maintained.
    • Metal septic tanks are no longer installed in most municipalities and should generally be replaced with a poly or concrete tank as soon as possible.
  • Can I put in a bigger septic tank than I currently have?

    • Municipal code determines the minimal size and type of septic tank that is required.
    • The size is based on expected occupancy of the dwelling or business. For homes, this is usually based on the number of bedrooms and/or bathrooms.
    • Larger septic tanks can be installed, if there is room. Smaller tanks cannot be installed without your municipality's permission.
    • If you are adding onto your building or expanding occupancy, the wastewater drainage system (leach field, seepage pit, etc.) may also require expansion or upgrading.
    • Increases in home or building size or occupancy almost always require an engineer's review of septic system capacity and municipal approval.

I used this company, and I couldn't be happier. We needed a new septic tank. They were very professional and knowledgeable and did the job right! Keep up the excellent work!
